The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and Providence Bruins meet for the first time this season tonight at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza.

The Penguins (8-2-0-1, 17 pts) sit atop the Atlantic Division standings, three points ahead of the fourth place Bruins (7-4-0-0, 14 pts).

The Penguins are coming off of a 4-2 victory over the Toronto Marlies on Wednesday night.  Andrey Pedan notched his first goal with the team (and added an assist), Ryan Haggerty picked up his fifth tally of the year, and Thomas Di Pauli netted a pair of goals in the win.  Casey DeSmith stopped 22 shots for his fifth win in six games this season.

The Bruins were shut out their last time out, falling to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, 6-0, last Sunday.  Zane McIntyre stopped 31 of 37 shots he faced between the pipes.
