The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins will try to close out another three game in three night weekend with a victory when they face the Milwaukee Admirals on Sunday night at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
The Penguins (33-17-4-1, 71 pts, .645%) sit in second place in the Atlantic Division, while Admirals (28-24-4-1, 61 pts, .535%) sit in sixth place in a crowded Central Division.
Sunday’s game is the second of two meetings between the clubs this season.

The Penguins fell to the Rockford IceHogs, 3-0, on Saturday in a hard-hitting, penalty-filled contest at BMO Harris Bank Center. Both teams had six power plays and combined for 66 penalty minutes throughout the course of the game but Wilkes-Barre/Scranton could not take advantage of all the special teams action in the second contest of its Midwest swing. Anthony Louis and Andreas Martinsen (2) put up the three goals for the IceHogs. Étienne Marcoux recorded 19 saves on 21 shots faced in his AHL debut.
Goalie Troy Grosenick stopped 36 shots in his Admirals debut, leading Milwaukee to a 4-1 win over the Grand Rapids Griffins Saturday at Van Andel Arena. Grosenick turned aside all but one shot in his first game since being acquired from the San Jose Barracuda. Milwaukee saw scoring from Mark Zengerle, Alex Carrier, Harry Zolnierczyk, and Trevor Smith.

Admirals center Trevor Smith skated in 75 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton during the 2012-13 season, recording 54 points (23+31).
