The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins welcome the Grand Rapids Griffins to the Mohegan Sun Arena for the visitors’ lone visit to NEPA this year.  It’s another Eyewitness News Fan Friday, with discounted lower bowl tickets, $2 draft beers from 6-7:30, and postgame autographs from Joseph Cramarossa and Thomas Di Pauli.

Griffins left wing Chris Terry leads the AHL with 21 goals through 35 games, and ranks third in the league with 38 points.

Penguins forward Teddy Blueger has recorded back-to-back two goal games (Dec. 29 at Lehigh Valley, Dec. 31 at Binghamton), and has six goals in his past six games.

Blueger is now tied for 12th in the AHL in goals scored (15).

Ethan Prow is tied for eighth among AHL defenseman with 22 points, and ranks tied for second among blueliners with 10 goals.

Sam Lafferty is tied for fifth among AHL rookies with 24 points, and is tied for first with 19 assists.

Anthony Angello is tied for seventh among AHL rookies with 10 goals.
