The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins welcome the Binghamton Devils to NEPA for the first time this season tonight.

The Penguins (34-26-7-3, 78 points, fifth in Atlantic Division) have posted a pair of road wins over the Devils this season, recording a 5-2 victory on December 31 and a 5-4 OT win on January 26.  

Tonight’s game is the final Eyewitness News Fan Friday of the season, with lower bowl seats available for just $14.  Fans 21 and over can also enjoy $2 draft beers from 6-7:30, and can stick around after the game to get autographs from a pair of Penguins players.

Forward Chase Berger, recently signed to an ATO after completing his senior season at Penn State, netted his first pro goal in his second pro game on Tuesday against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers

Fellow ATO signing Christoper Brown (out of Boston College) assisted on Berger’s game-winning tally for his first pro point.

Ryan Haggerty netted a pair of goals on Tuesday against Bridgeport, giving him 22 on the season.  His second goal moved him into the team lead for goals this year, one more than Teddy Blueger, who is currently on recall with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Haggerty has points in three straight games (3+1=4) and nine points (6+3=9) in his past six contests.

Rookie Sam Miletic carries a career-best six-game point streak (2+5=7) into tonight’s action against the Devils.
