NOESEN POWERS PENGUINS TO 4-3 WIN IN SEASON OPENER


PENGUINS NOTES
Stepan Noesen record his first two goals with the Penguins during the 4-3 win against the Hershey Bears.

Jake Lucchini continued his hot start to his pro career by collecting another goal in the first game of the season. Lucchini has seven goals in sixteen games since joining the Pens after a four year career at Michigan Tech.

Niclas Almari record his first professional point after assisting on a goal against Hershey.

Almari is entering his first full season with the WBS Penguins after being drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 5th round in 2015.

Oula Palve also record his first point as a Penguin.

Casey DeSmith recorded 36 saves in his return to the WBS Penguins.


PHANTOMS NOTES

The Phantoms sold out the PPL Center for the sixth straight home opener.

Andy Andreoff, Cal O’ Reilly, and Nate Prosser will all share wearing the “C” during the season.


PHANTOMS-PENS CONNECTIONS

Phantoms forward Cal O’ Reilly suited up for the Penguins during the 2011-2012 season. He recorded ten assists in 21 games during his stint with the Pens.
