The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins will be seeking revenge this Friday when they take on the Lehigh Valley Phantoms at the PPL Center. The Phantoms were able to sneak away with a win in the previous encounter on October 11th. This will be the second of twelve meetings between the division and state rivals.

PENGUINS NOTES
Stepan Noesen is tied for the league lead in goals (9) with Utica Comets winger Reid Boucher.

Joseph Cramarossa had a two point night, an assist on the opening goal, and the eventual OT-winner in the Pens win against the San Antonio Rampage. It also happened to be his 27th birthday.

Forward Andrew Agozzino is riding a five-game point streak, and has points in six of the eight games he has played in.

Rookie Forward Jordy Bellerive recorded his first career AHL goal in the 5-4 OT win against the San Antonio Rampage.

The Pittsburgh Penguins acquired Andreas Martinsen from the Anaheim Ducks and assigned him to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Martinsen has 16 goals and 41 points in 113 career AHL games. 

Adam Johnson and Joseph Blandisi both look to return to the lineup after being sent down from Pittsburgh.


PHANTOMS NOTES

2017 first round pick Morgan Frost is enjoying a four-game point streak and has six points (2G, 4A) in those four games.

Goaltender Alex Lyon is second in the AHL in GAA with a 1.30 and third in SAV% with a 951%.

Nicolas Aube-Kubel recorded his 100th AHL point with an assist in the Phantoms win against the Charlotte Checkers on October 26th.


PHANTOMS-PENS CONNECTIONS

Phantoms forward Cal O’ Reilly suited up for the Penguins during the 2011-2012 season. He recorded ten assists in 21 games during his stint with the Pens.
