WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The American Hockey League announced today changes to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins’ schedule. Due to COVID-19 protocols affecting the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the Penguins will now play the Syracuse Crunch at home on Friday, Mar. 19 at 7:00 p.m.

The Penguins were originally scheduled to play the Phantoms on Friday at home. That game has been postponed. A make-up date has not yet been determined.

Friday’s home game against Syracuse will still be Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s first game with fans at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza this season. Very few seats are still remaining for Friday’s game. Those who wish to attend Friday’s clash with the Crunch or any of the Penguins’ remaining home games in March can contact the Penguins’ front office at (570) 208-PENS or visit wbspenguins.com.
