The Calgary native made his professional hockey debut during the 2004-05 season, splitting time between Manchester (14gp, 2+1=3) and the ECHL’s Bakersfield Condors (51gp, 21+25=46).
James attended the University of Denver (2000-04) and was a member of the 2004 NCAA Championship Team, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team. In 160 career games at Denver, James recorded 150 points (57+93) and 60 penalty minutes.
