PENS' THIRD JERSEY PAYS
HOMAGE TO PITTSBURGH'S PAST

The Pittsburgh Penguins' future is once again paying tribute to the Pittsburgh Penguins' past.

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins unveiled their 2007-08 alternate jersey Wednesday, a throwback to the old Pittsburgh Yellow Jackets jersey worn between 1915 & 1925.

The jersey is colored with the traditional Pittsburgh yellow, and lined with white and black trim. It also features the round "P" logo similar to the one worn by the Yellow Jackets.

The jerseys will be worn for 10 pre-selected home games throughout the regular season.

The Penguins kick off their ninth AHL season on October 3 when they will take on the intra-state rival Hershey Bears.
Individual tickets for the upcoming 2007-08 season go on sale on Saturday, September 15 at 10:00 am. Tickets, which start at $16.50 each, will be available at the Wachovia Arena box office, on-line at www.ticketmaster.com, through all TicketMaster locations, and by phone at 570-693-4100.
