RECALL CONNOR JAMES

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Connor James from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, it was announced Saturday by Executive Vice President/ General Manager Ray Shero.

James has played all 25 games this season with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and ranks tied for second on the team with 16 points (six goals, 10 assists). He leads the club with a plus-six rating. James also spent the 2006-07 season with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and collected 32 points (12 goals, 20 assists) in 70 games played. He made his NHL debut during the 2005-06 season playing two games with the Los Angeles Kings.

James was originally signed by the Penguins as a free agent on August 9th, 2006.
