McGRATH BACK HOME, BUT CLOSER TO HIS DREAM

PITTSBURGH ASSIGNS SEVEN TO WILKES-BARRE

The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned seven players to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, it was announced today by executive Vice President and general manager Ray Shero. Forwards Paul Thompson, Tom Kostopoulos, Brian Gibbons and Dominik Uher, and defensemen Clark Seymour, Reid McNeill and Nick D'Agostino were sent to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. KUHNHACKL, DEA SCORE IN SUNDAY LOSS

Jean-Sebastien Dea and Tom Kuhnhackl tallied goals, but the Pittsburgh Penguins prospects dropped a 3-2 decision to the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2013 Rookie Tournament in London, Ontario on Sunday afternoon. PENS FALL TO LEAFS IN SHOOTOUT, 4-3

Tom Kuhnhackl’s goal with just 31 seconds to play forced overtime, but the Toronto Maple Leafs prospects proved more accurate in the shootout, defeating the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-3 on Saturday night at the 2013 London Rookie Tournament. PENGUINS 2013-14 JERSEYS UNVEILED

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins will have some new looks for the 2013-14 season....and we're not just talking about new players. The Pens unveiled a new 15th season alternate jersey on Friday, as well as revamped home and road jerseys.
