Chris Wideman’s goal 30 seconds into overtime was the difference, as the Binghamton Senators battled back from a two-goal deficit to take a 4-3 OT victory against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Wednesday night at the Mohegan Sun Arena. EBBETT’S RETURN SPARKS PENS TO 5-1 WIN OVER PIRATES

Andrew Ebbett’s return to Wilkes-Barre proved to be the perfect antidote to the Penguins’ power play woes. Re-assigned from Pittsburgh earlier in the week, Ebbett notched two goals and added an assist as Wilkes-Barre/Scranton skated to a 5-1 win over the Portland Pirates on Friday night at Mohegan Sun Arena.
