Devils Send Penguins into Break with a 2-1 Loss

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins’ four-game winning streak came to an end as they were defeated by the Norfolk Admirals, 5-2, on Saturday at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza. Trailing 2-1 after the first period, the Penguins needed only 1:42 to erase the Admirals lead after Geoff Walker’s centering pass clipped the skate of Bryan Lerg and trickled across the goal line. SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Brandon DeFazio potted two goals and Scott Munroe made 34 saves as the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins won their fourth straight contest with a 3-2 win over the Syracuse Crunch on Friday at Onondaga County War Memorial at Oncenter. WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Colin McDonald found the back net of twice to help the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to a 4-2 victory over the Binghamton Senators on Tuesday at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza.
