BEARS EDGE PENGUINS IN SHOOTOUT, 2-1

HERSHEY, Pa. – A goaltending duel between Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s Jeff Zatkoff and Hershey’s Phillip Grubauer saw the Bears (10-7-1-1, 22 points) come out on top with a 2-1 shootout win over the Penguins (11-8-1-1, 24 points) on Thanksgiving Eve at GIANT Center.    Both netminders would keep a clean slate for the first two periods of play, but it was on Hershey’s second power play of the contest that the scoreless tie was broken.    At 8:53 of the third… read more
