PENGUINS RE-SIGN BARRY GOERS

July 8, 2016   WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have re-signed defenseman Barry Goers to an American Hockey League contract for the 2016-17 season. Goers underwent preseason hip surgery last year, but returned to the Penguins’ line-up on Mar. 4 and went on to record two assists in 16 games. July 7, 2016   WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed forward Sahir Gill to an American Hockey League contract for the 2016-17 season. In his third professional season, Gill recorded AHL career highs with 21 games played, five goals, nine assists, and 14 points.
