HARTZELL AND CIANFRINI JOIN PENGUINS

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Pittsburgh Penguins have assigned goaltender Eric Hartzell to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins from the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL), it was announced today   In two appearances this season for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Hartzell went 2-0-0 with a 2.92 goals against average and a .882 save percentage.   He has also compiled a record of 5-4-0 for the Nailers in 2014-15, while recording a 2.54 GAA, a .915 save percentage and one shutout.    A 25-year… read more

December 23, 2014 The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled center Dominik Uher from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford. December 22, 2014   The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled goaltender Jeff Zatkoff from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.   Pittsburgh travels to face the Florida Panthers tonight at 7:30pm.  The team completes a swing through the sunshine state tomorrow evening against the Tampa Bay Lightning at 7:30pm.
