PENGUINS RECALL SEYMOUR FROM WHEELING

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins today announced that defenseman Clark Seymour has been recalled from loan to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL).   Currently in his first season of professional hockey, Seymour has recorded one goal, five assists and 15 penalty minutes over 18 games with the Nailers.  Seymour made his Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and American Hockey League debut on Dec. 6, collecting an assist for the Penguins.    A 21-year old native of Brockville,… read more

PITTSBURGH RECALLS HARRINGTON

December 14, 2014 The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled defenseman Scott Harrington from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, it was announced on Sunday. Harrington has appeared in 21 games for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season, recording five assists, 12 penalty minutes and a plus-6 rating.  The second-year pro has 39 points (5+24), 67 penalty minutes and a plus-15 rating in 97 career AHL games. The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forwards Bryan Rust and Bobby Farnham from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford. Forward Jayson Megna was re-assigned to WBS. Rust and Farnham will be looking to make their NHL debuts tonight against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
