WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – It was announced today that the Pittsburgh Penguins have assigned goaltender Eric Hartzell from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL.    Hartzell, 23, originally signed with Pittsburgh in April after completing four seasons with Quinnipiac University. The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Jayson Megna from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League (AHL), it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero. Megna, 23, will be looking to make his NHL debut tomorrow night against the New York Islanders. The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Chris Conner from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League (AHL), it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero. Conner, 29, is tied for the WBS team lead in both goals (3) and points (4) through three games, helping the Penguins post a 3-0 record and a first-place standing in the Eastern Conference’s East Division.
