SUNDQVIST ASSIGNED TO WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON

The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forward Oskar Sundqvist from Skelleftea of the Swedish League to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.   Sundqvist, 21, recently completed his second full season playing for Skelleftea in Sweden’s top professional league. PENGUINS RETURN SEYMOUR TO WHEELING

  WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins today announced that defenseman Clark Seymour has been returned on loan to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL).   Seymour played in 54 games for the Nailers this season, recording one goal, 72 penalty minutes and ranking first among team defensemen with 14 assists.  Currently in his first season of professional hockey, Seymour has also appeared in 12 contests for the Penguins, posting one assist.    A 21-year old native… read more

April 23, 2015 The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned defenseman Scott Harrington to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by general manager Jim Rutherford. MURRAY, ZATKOFF CAPTURE HAP HOLMES AWARD

April 19, 2015 The American Hockey League announced today that Matt Murray and Jeff Zatkoff of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins are the recipients of the Harry “Hap” Holmes Memorial Award for the 2014-15 season. PENGUINS SIGN PARENT TO PTO
