January 18, 2016 The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled defenseman Derrick Pouliot from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford. The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins are proud to announce that defenseman John Slaney has been selected for induction into the team’s Hall of Fame.  Slaney becomes the fourth person to join the hall, following the inductions of Dennis Bonvie, Alain Nasreddine and Kevin Blaum in 2014. January 4, 2015   WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have reassigned goaltender Brian Foster to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL). Foster, 28, posted a record of 1-3-0-1 in five games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and recorded the first shutout of his AHL career with a 30-save effort against the Syracuse Crunch on Dec. 19, 2015.
