SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The American Hockey League announced today that Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins forward Ben Street has been named the Reebok/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Nov. 13, 2011. The Pittsburgh Penguins have assigned forwards Dustin Jeffrey and Steve MacIntyre to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League on a conditioning assignment, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero. Jeffrey and MacIntyre will remain on Pittsburgh’s 23-man active roster and will be paid their NHL salary during their conditioning assignment. PENGUINS MAKE ROSTER MOVES

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have loaned left wing Ryan Schnell to the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL. In addition, forwards Cody Chupp and Matt Rust have been released from their professional tryout agreement and amateur tryout agreement, respectively. The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled defenseman Alexandre Picard from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero. The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed forward Niko Dimitrakos to a professional tryout agreement. The Penguins also announced that forward Chris Barton has been reassigned to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL).
