PENGUINS RE-ASSIGN FORWARD ERIC TANGRADI TO WBS

The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forward Eric Tangradi to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero. Tangradi, 22, was scoreless in two games with Pittsburgh. The Philadelphia native leads WBS this season with seven goals and ranks second on the team with 12 points in 12 games. PENGUINS RECALL FORWARD STEVE MACINTYRE

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Steve MacIntyre from his conditioning assignment with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero. MacIntyre, 31, played four games with WBS during his conditioning assignment, collecting 14 penalty minutes. RUST RETURNS TO PENGUINS

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed forward Matt Rust to a professional tryout agreement. Originally signed to an amateur tryout agreement on October 11, Rust was limited to two games with the Penguins due to injury. In his rookie season after completing a four-year career at the University of Michigan, Rust has also skated in two contests with the Wheeling Nailers this season. PENGUINS RECALL SCHNELL FROM WHEELING

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have recalled forward Ryan Schnell from loan to the Wheeling Nailers. Schnell appeared in three games for the Nailers, compiling 19 minutes of penalties. Originally loaned to Wheeling on November 8, Schnell has also skated in three games with the Penguins this year. SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The American Hockey League announced today that Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins forward Ben Street has been named the Reebok/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Nov. 13, 2011. Street erupted for eight points on two goals and six assists, along with a plus-5 rating, in three games as the Penguins moved into the top spot in its division and the second-best record in the entire AHL. The Pittsburgh Penguins have assigned forwards Dustin Jeffrey and Steve MacIntyre to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League on a conditioning assignment, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.
