PORTER ASSIGNED TO WILKES-BARRE

PENGUINS REASSIGN RUOPP TO WHEELING

October 22, 2015   WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that defenseman Harrison Ruopp has been assigned to Wheeling by Pittsburgh. Ruopp made the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton roster out of training camp, but was did not appear in any of the Penguins’ four games.   October 15, 2015   The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Bryan Rust from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.   The Penguins assigned defenseman Tim Erixon to WBS to make room on their roster.    Rust, 23, has recorded one assist in two games this season for WBS. SAHIR GILL SIGNS WITH PENGUINS

October 8, 2015   WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed forward Sahir Gill to an American Hockey League contract.  Gill recently participated in training camp with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and was the only player to dress in all four of the Penguins preseason games.
