A GREAT START FOR GUENTZEL

by Paige Stuppy Jake Guentzel exploded in playoff action, putting up 14 points (5G-9A) to lead all players in the Calder Cup Playoffs by the time the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins’ run was over. TOM KOSTOPOULOS RE-SIGNS WITH WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON

May 24, 2016 WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have re-signed forward Tom Kostopoulos to an American Hockey League contract for the 2016-17 season. Kostopoulos enters his 18th season of professional hockey and 10th year with the Penguins organization. May 23, 2016 The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed forward Jake Guentzel to a three-year, entry-level contract, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.
