MIKE SULLIVAN NAMED HEAD COACH OF W-B/SCRANTON PENGUINS

June 18, 2015 Mike Sullivan has been named head coach of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, it was announced today by associate general manager Jason Botterill. Sullivan, 47, has 13 years of coaching experience at the National Hockey League (NHL), American Hockey League (AHL) and international levels. He served two seasons as the Boston Bruins head coach from 2003-06. NASREDDINE JOINS DEVILS COACHING STAFF

PENGUINS RE-SIGN CARTER ROWNEY

  WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed forward Carter Rowney to an American Hockey League contract for the 2015-16 season.    Rowney began last season with the ECHL’s Wheeling Nailers, compiling seven points (1G-6A) in just five games.  Recalled to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Nov. 5, 2014, Rowney enjoyed a breakout season with the Penguins.  The 26-year-old from Sexsmith, Alberta played in 63 contests with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton… read more

GOERS BACK WITH PENGUINS FOR 2015-16 SEASON

PENGUINS AGREE TO TERMS WITH ADAM KRAUSE AND TY LONEY
