BOULERICE IS BACK

WILKES-BARRE, PA – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have re-signed right wing Jesse Boulerice to an American Hockey League contract, it was announced on Friday. Boulerice returns to northeastern Pennsylvania after appearing in 54 regular-season games last year. He posted seven points (4G, 3A), matching his AHL career high for goals in a season. The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed defenseman Corey Potter to a one-year contract, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero. The deal is for the 2010-11 season and is a two-way contract that will pay Potter $500,000 at the NHL level. Potter, 26, has played in eight career NHL games with the New York Rangers, recording two points (1G-1A). The Pittsburgh Penguins have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with defenseman Andrew Hutchinson, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero. The deal is for the 2010-11 season and is a two-way contract that will pay Hutchinson $500,000 at the NHL level. Houston Aeros General Manager Jim Mill today named former Aero Mike Yeo (pronounced YOH) as the team’s new Head Coach.
