WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON SIGNS LANE CAFFARO

WILKES-BARRE, PA – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have signed defenseman Lane Caffaro to an American Hockey League contract, it was announced on Tuesday. Caffaro, 25, spent four seasons suiting up for Union College, where he posted 79 points (23+56) and 227 penalty minutes in 135 games. WILKES-BARRE, PA – Dan Bylsma made professional hockey history on Tuesday night, becoming the first person ever to start a season as an American Hockey League head coach and then guide a National Hockey League team to the Stanley Cup Finals in the same season. Jason Botterill has been named Assistant General Manager of the Pittsburgh Penguins, it was announced today by Executive Vice President and General Manager Ray Shero. REIRDEN NAMED SIXTH HEAD COACH IN WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON HISTORY

WILKES-BARRE, PA – Todd Reirden has been named the sixth head coach in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins history, it was announced on Wednesday by Pittsburgh Penguins Executive Vice President and General Manager, Ray Shero. PENGUINS SEASON ENDS IN GAME SEVEN
