WILKES-BARRE, PA -The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins pushed their winning streak to eight games on Sunday night, skating past the Worcester Sharks, 5-2, at the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza. COTE TAKES BITE OUT OF FORMER TEAM

WILKES-BARRE, PA -It didn't take much extra motivation for J.P. Cote to get up for Saturday night's Penguins game against the Hamilton Bulldogs. The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton defenseman spent the previous five seasons patrolling the Bulldogs blueline before being let go at the end of last year. WILKES-BARRE, PA - John Curry stopped all 32 pucks he saw, Jean-Michel Daoust tallied twice, and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins cruised to a 5-0 win against the Norfolk Admirals on Sunday evening at the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza. PHILADELPHIA, PA - Reid Cashman's first American Hockey League goal came just at the right time. Cashman, who wears number 11, scored at 11:11 of the third period to break a 1-1 tie, as the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins posted a 4-1 win against the Philadelphia Phantoms at the Wachovia Spectrum on Tuesday night. WILKES-BARRE, PA - Reid Cashman netted his second game-winning goal in as many contests, as the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins posted a 4-3 overtime win against the San Antonio Rampage on Friday night at the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza. The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Luca Caputi from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League (AHL), it was announced today by Executive Vice President and General Manager Ray Shero.
