BRIDGEPORT, CT – John Curry made 35 saves for his second shutout of the season, as the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins posted a 3-0 win against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Sunday afternoon. BINGHAMTON, NY – Martin Gerber arrived in Binghamton on Friday morning for a two-week conditioning stint. He may have crammed a full 14 days workload into his first game with the AHL Senators. WILKES-BARRE, PA –It seems like a year ago that the Hershey Bears handed the Penguins an 8-4 drubbing on opening night. In actuality, it was exactly half a season back that the Bears ventured up to Wilkes-Barre and handed the club its worst defeat of the campaign. The Pittsburgh Penguins have traded defenseman T. J. Kemp to the Montreal Canadiens for a conditional seventh round pick in the 2010 National Hockey League draft, it was announced on Monday by Pittsburgh Penguins Executive Vice President and General Manager, Ray Shero.
