ZATKOFF RETURNS TO FORM

February 13, 2015 by Michael Mazzuca The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins boasted a goalie in Jeff Zatkoff who seemed unbreakable early in the 2014-2015 season. Zatkoff was 11-6-2 through the first 35 of the season. He led the AHL in goals against average (1.69), was tied for first in save percentage (.932), and was tied for second in shutouts (3). PITTSBURGH REASSIGNS HARRINGTON

FEBRUARY 9, 2015 The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned defenseman Scott Harrington to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford. Harrington, 21, has played in 10 NHL games with Pittsburgh this season, averaging 15:48 minutes. He made his NHL debut on Dec. 18 against Colorado. PENGUINS’ MURRAY NAMED CCM/AHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
