PITTSBURGH RECALLS HARRINGTON

November 3, 2014 The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled defenseman Scott Harrington from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford. Harrington, 21, spent time with Pittsburgh earlier this season, but did not appear in any games. He has skated in seven AHL contests with WBS, collecting two assists. PITTSBURGH RE-ASSIGNS MEGNA TO WBS

November 2, 2014 The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forward Jayson Megna to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford. Megna has played in nine AHL games with WBS this season, tallying three points (2G-1A). ADMIRALS, YIP SLIP BY PENS, 3-2, IN OT

By Mike Shields - October 31, 2014 Brandon Yip scored his second goal of the game at the 1:14 of overtime Friday night, giving the Norfolk Admirals a 3-2 overtime win over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at the Norfolk Scope. PENS SAIL INTO NORFOLK FOR TWO-GAME SET

The Penguins travel to Virginia for a pair of contests against the Norfolk Admirals on Friday and Saturday night.  The teams will face off eight times during the 2014-15 season. October 30, 2014 The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Jayson Megna from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford. Megna, 24, has skated in nine AHL games with WBS this season, scoring two goals and adding an assist for three points. PENS TAKE 2-1 OT WIN OVER PHANTOMS

October 29, 2014 Jean-Sebastien Dea's goal at 4:58 of overtime was the difference, as the Penguins posted a 2-1 win over the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Wednesday night in Allentown.  The Penguins upped their record to 5-4-0-0 on the season after winning their second game in overtime this year.  The Phantoms fell to 4-2-1-0 with the loss. The Penguins will visit Allentown for the first time when they square off with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Wednesday night.  The contest is the first of a three-game road trip, which also sees Wilkes-Barre/Scranton travel to Norfolk for a two-game set on Friday and Saturday nights.
