MURRAY REJOINS WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON

January 2, 2016     The Pittsburgh Penguins have activated goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury from injured reserve and re-assigned goaltender Matt Murray to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.   Fleury, 31, started 25 of Pittsburgh’s first 29 games, going 13-10-2 with a .925 save percentage and a 2.29 goals-against average.   Murray, 21, played in four NHL games with Pittsburgh,… read more

December 30, 2015   WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today they have recalled forward John McCarron from the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL).
