MEGNA TALLIES TWO IN LOSS TO BEARS

November 16, 2014 For the second straight night the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins jumped out to a 2-0 lead on their opponents. And for the second straight night, they saw the lead slip away, as the Hershey Bears tallied three unanswered goals to post a 3-2 win on Sunday at the Giant Center. By Mike Shields - November 15, 2014   Mike Angelidis netted the game winner in the third period, as the Syracuse Crunch scored three unanswered goals to top the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, 3-2, Saturday night at Mohegan Sun Arena. November 15, 2014 The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins carry a four-game winning streak into Saturday night's contest against the Syracuse Crunch.  The puck drops at 7:05pm at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza. PENS SCARE PHANTOMS FOR FOURTH STRAIGHT WIN

PENS SET TO BATTLE PHANTOMS TONIGHT

PENS ASSIGN D’AGOSTINO AND HARTZELL TO WHEELING

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Pittsburgh Penguins have assigned defenseman Nick D’Agostino and goaltender Eric Hartzell from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL), it was announced today   In two appearances this season for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Hartzell has gone 2-0-0 with a 2.92 goals against average and a .882 save percentage.  Hartzell, a 25-year old second-year pro, split the 2013-14 season between Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Wheeling.   He… read more

PENS COMPLETE PERFECT WEEKEND WITH 5-4 OT WIN OVER THE CRUNCH
