Chris Wideman’s goal 30 seconds into overtime was the difference, as the Binghamton Senators battled back from a two-goal deficit to take a 4-3 OT victory against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Wednesday night at the Mohegan Sun Arena. BEARS SURGE IN THIRD FOR 3-1 WIN

Game Sheet Forty-nine minutes of scoreless hockey led into a scoring flurry in the third period, as the Hershey Bears struck three times in a span of 7:41 to record a 3-1 win over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Sunday evening at the Mohegan Sun Arena. LAST COMEBACK NOT ENOUGH FOR PENS

Three third period goals weren’t enough for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to overcome a four-goal deficit, as the Hershey Bears posted a 5-4 win at the Giant Center on Saturday night.  With the win the Bears (28-16-3-3, 64 points) bypassed the Penguins (28-18-2-3, 63 points) for second place in the East Division. SENS SPECIAL TEAMS LEAD TO 6-2 WIN

The Binghamton Senators rode their special teams, scoring four power play goals and a shorthanded tally, to record a 6-2 win over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Friday night. PENS ASSIGN MANDERSON AND ROWNEY TO WHEELING

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that forwards Denver Manderson and Carter Rowney have been returned on loan to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL).  In addition, defenseman Barry Goers and forward Zack Torquato have been released from their professional tryout agreements (PTO) and will return to Wheeling.    Manderson, 24, has appeared in 25 games this season with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, netting one goal, six assists and four penalty minutes. … read more
