PENGUINS SHUT OUT BY SHARKS, 4-0

PITTSBURGH RECALLS HARRINGTON FROM WILKES-BARRE

JANUARY 16, 2015 The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled defenseman Scott Harrington from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford. Harrington, 21, has played in six NHL games with Pittsburgh this season, making his NHL debut Dec. 18 against Colorado. PENGUINS RELEASE GILL FROM PTO

JANUARY 16, 2015     WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have released forward Sahir Gill from his professional tryout agreement (PTO).   Gill, 22, played in 12 games for the Penguins, collecting one goal and two assists.  He tallied his first career AHL goal on Jan. 2 versus Binghamton.    Prior to signing a PTO with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Dec. 4, 2014, Gill had posted 14 points (4G-10A) in 14 contests for the Wheeling… read more

JANUARY 14, 2015 The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forward Bryan Rust and defenseman Taylor Chorney to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.
