PENGUINS PULL AWAY IN THIRD FOR WIN OVER CRUNCH

PENGUINS STRIKE LATE TO SKATE PAST BEARS

FORMER PENGUIN JOHN SLANEY NAMED AHL HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE

Former Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins captain John Slaney was among the four players named as members of the American Hockey League's 2014 Hall of Fame class, it was announced on Thursday. PENGUINS RECALL MANNINO FROM WHEELING

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that goaltender Peter Mannino has been recalled from loan from the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL.    Mannino stopped 21-of-22 shots over two periods of play during the Nailers’ 4-3 preseason loss to the Fort Wayne Komets on Wednesday.  Signed by Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on July 24, the sixth-year pro went 10-7-0 in 20 games with the Manchester Monarchs last season, while recording a 2.47 goals against average… read more

KOSTOPOULS NAMED PENGUINS CAPTAIN
