Penguins Recall Williams and Sneep

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Jason Williams and defenseman Carl Sneep from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero. Williams, 31, has played in two games this season for Pittsburgh, going scoreless with two penalty minutes while averaging 11:07 minutes. WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that forward Paul Thompson has been assigned to the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL by the Pittsburgh Penguins. Thompson has recorded three goals, four assists and six penalty minutes in 20 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have recalled forward Chris Barton from loan with the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL.
