PENGUINS SIGN HENNINGSON TO PTO

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed defenseman Dan Henningson to a professional tryout agreement. Henningson currently skates with the Chicago Express of the ECHL after being acquired from the Wheeling Nailers on October 18. The third-year pro has recorded a goal, two assists and eight penalty minutes in 18 games this season. The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled defenseman Alexandre Picard from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero. Picard, 26, will be appearing in his third stint of the season with Pittsburgh. NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk rookie Cory Conacher tallied a pair of goals on the man-advantage to help the Admirals down the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, 5-2, on Tuesday at the Norfolk Scope.
