MIRACLE MEMORIES POSTPONED

Due to impending weather and travel concerns, Tuesday night’s MIRACLE MEMORIES event, scheduled for 6:00pm at the F.M. Kirby Center in downtown Wilkes-Barre, has been postponed. PENGUINS OUTWORK PHANTOMS IN VALENTINE’S DAY VICTORY

GLENS FALLS, NY – Luca Caputi, Jesse Boulerice, and Dustin Jeffrey each tallied third-period goals, and Adam Berkhoel stopped 26 shots to help the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to their third straight win, 4-3 over the Adirondack Phantoms on Sunday afternoon at the Glens Falls Civic Center. PENGUINS DISMISS SENATORS IN SHOOTOUT WIN

WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Mike Brodeur turned aside 38 of 40 shots in regulation and overtime, but fell apart in the shootout as the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins picked up a much-needed two points with a 3-2 win over the Binghamton Senators on Friday night at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza. PENGUINS ACQUIRE WAGNER FROM ST. LOUIS

The Pittsburgh Penguins have acquired defenseman Steve Wagner from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for Nate Guenin, it was announced by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero. Wagner, who will be reporting to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, spent the last three-plus seasons in the St. Louis organization after signing as a free agent in 2007. PENGUINS TO APPEAR ON XM SATELLITE RADIO

The American Hockey League announced today that 12 games are scheduled to be heard live on XM Satellite Radio on their all-hockey NHL Home Ice channel later this month, including two featuring the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
