FORMER PENGUIN MIKE YEO TABBED TO LEAD AEROS

Houston Aeros General Manager Jim Mill today named former Aero Mike Yeo (pronounced YOH) as the team’s new Head Coach. Yeo, who spent the past five seasons as an Assistant Coach for the Pittsburgh Penguins (NHL), played five seasons with the Aeros (1994-99) and was the captain of Houston’s 1999 Turner Cup Championship team. PITTSBURGH RECALLS SEVEN FROM WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON

Share The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled seven players from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero. The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Chris Conner from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero. Conner, 26, scored two goals and three points in eight games with Pittsburgh this season. The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled defenseman Ben Lovejoy from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.
