Penguins News

Time is running out to experience the excitement of Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins hockey this season, with just four regular season contests left on the schedule.

But even though games are few, the fun is overflowing!

This Saturday, April 6, the Penguins take on the Albany Devils at 7:05pm, and the first 5,000 fans through the doors will also receive a Zach Sill Bobblehead, courtesy of Jeep.

We'll also have our second Penguins Beads of Courage bead sale on the concourse, with all proceeds raised going to the Palermo Heart to Heart Foundation, the sole sponsor of the Beads of Courage program at Janet Weis Children's Hospital. Our first sale saw the beads sell out in less than 30 minutes, so get there early to get yours!

Join in the fight against Autism with Allied Services on Autism Awareness Night. A special ticket package, including a Penguins hat as well as a voucher good for a hot dog, chips and soda at the game is available starting at just $18. Plus you'll be able to purchase special autographed Autism Awareness Pucks for just $10, with all proceeds going back to Allied Services.

Kick up your boots and join us as we look to lasso the Bears on Country Music day at the arena this Sunday, April 7 at 3:05pm.

We'll have live music from local artist Abbie Bendick, a pre-game remote from Froggy 101, ticket giveaways for Scotty McCreery's April 20 show at the F.M. Kirby Center, and other surprises.

Also help out some great causes with our Camp Cadet fundraiser (info below) and Geisinger Women's Health Awareness Night (contact Erica Roccia at 208-5424):

Start your engines and get down to the Mohegan Sun Arena to watch the Pens go Shark hunting on Saturday, April 19.

First, our friends at Eyewitness News have teamed up with us to offer discounted Fan Friday tickets, with a savings of up to $5 off the gate price.

It's Pocono Raceway night, with race car displays, the always fun tire changing simulator, and free tickets to the June 8 ARCA race for everyone.

The first 5,000 fans will also receive a Penguins reusable water bottle, courtesy of our friends at Geisinger, as part of our Go Green night.

We'll also be helping out our furry friends from the Luzerne County SPCA with a special fundraising package and pet supplies collection (info below):

The final home game of the regular season takes place on Saturday, April 20, as the Penguins face the Manchester Monarchs. Join us for the pregame festivities with face painters and live music outside of the East Gate (weather permitting), and with our annual awards night presentation on the ice.

Stick around after the game to see the players give away the jerseys off their backs, and watch 10 lucky fans shoot for the chance to win a Dodge car.

Plus everyone who enters the building will receive a scratch off card with a great gift to be revealed.

Tickets for all remaining home games are available online at, by phone at 800-745-3000 or at the arena box office.
