Penguins Re-Assign Williams and Picard

Penguins Re-Assign Jason Williams and Alexandre Picard to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forward Jason Williams and defenseman Alexandre Picard to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero. Williams, 31, has played the past two games for Pittsburgh, going scoreless with two penalty minutes while averaging 11:07 minutes. Picard, 26, has appeared in 11 games with Pittsburgh, collecting one assist and posting a plus-3 rating. Picard notched his first assist as a Penguin in Saturday night’s 6-3 win at New York Islanders.
