FRIDAY, October 19: Penguins 2, FALCONS 4…
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins battled back from a 2-0 hole to tie the contest only to see the Springfield Falcons pull away for a 4-2 win.

Down by two going into the third period, Joe Morrow and Phil Dupuis struck on consecutive power plays to even the score, 2-2.  Less than three minutes later, Cam Atkinson pounced on the turnover and potted the game-winner for the Falcons.  Jonathan Audy-Marchessault had a three-point night (1+2) for Springfield.

SATURDAY, October 20: PENGUINS 2, Sound Tigers 3…
For the second straight game, the Penguins found themselves down 2-0 after the opening twenty minutes of hockey and eventually fell to Bridgeport, 3-2, in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s home opener.

Riley Holzapfel cut the Sound Tigers lead in half at 7:48 of the second with his first goal of the season, but Bridgeport would go back up by two on John Persson’s goal with 3:28 left in the same period.

Eric Tangradi pulled Wilkes-Barre/Scranton within one with four minutes left in regulation, but the Penguins could not find the equalizer despite a power play late in the contest.

SUNDAY, October 21: PENGUINS 1, Crunch 3…
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton was unable to climb back from another early deficit as they were defeated by the Syracuse Crunch, 3-1.
