BRIAN FOSTER REASSIGNED BY WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON

February 12, 2016   WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have reassigned goalie Brian Foster to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL). In 13 games with the Nailers this season, Foster has a 6-6-0-1 record, a 2.93 goals against average, and .905 save percentage.   February 4, 2016   The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Oskar Sundqvist from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.   Sundqvist, 21, is in his first full season in North America, playing 39 AHL games for WBS, tallying five goals, 11 assists and 16 points.   The 6-foot-3, 209-pound Sundqvist joined WBS last season during its playoff run, skating in one postseason contest.… read more
