PITTSBURGH RECALLS LETESTU
The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Mark Letestu from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced by Executive Vice President and General Manager Ray Shero.
Letestu, 24, made his NHL debut in the Penguins’ 6-5 overtime victory over the Boston Bruins Nov. 14, and appeared in two games during his previous stint in Pittsburgh .
Letestu has been one of Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s top scoring threats with 13 points (4G-9A) in 14 games. The Elk Point, Alberta native has played the last two-plus seasons in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, finishing third on the team in scoring last season with 61 points on 24 goals and 37 assists in 73 contests.
