Seymour Signs ATO with Penguins
2012 Pittsburgh draft pick joins WBS from Peterborough
WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed defenseman Clark Seymour to an amateur tryout agreement (ATO).
Seymour, 19, appeared in 62 games this season for the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League and posted three goals, 10 assists and 61 penalty minutes.
The Brockville, Ontario-native was a fifth-round pick (143rd overall) of the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. Seymour has played four seasons in the OHL between Peterborough and the Kingston Frontenacs, totaling 34 points (7G-27A) and 187 PIM over 227 contests.
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins return home to take on the Norfolk Admirals on Saturday, March 23rdat 7:05 P.M. Less than 400 tickets remain for the Penguins’ St. Patrick’s Day Celebration that evening.
