PITTSBURGH SIGNS AHL ALL-STAR CAMERON GAUNCE

  July 1, 2016   The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed defenseman Cameron Gaunce to a one-year contract, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.   The deal is a two-way contract that contains an average annual value of $575,000 at the NHL level.   Gaunce, 26, is coming off of a career year at the American Hockey League level with the Portland Pirates, where his 35 assists and 37 points in 75 games both represented the highest totals… read more

July 1, 2016 The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-signed defenseman Steve Oleksy and forward Tom Sestito to one-year, two way contracts, it was announced on Friday.  In addition, the Penguins have signed free agent defensemen Stuart Percy and David Warsofsky to one-year, two way contracts. June 28, 2016   WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed forward Christian Hilbrich to an American Hockey League contract for the 2016-17 season. Hilbrich, who is listed at six-foot-seven, 223 lbs., joins the Penguins organization after completing four seasons with Cornell University.
