PITTSBURGH RECALLS DUMOULIN, WILSON

December 2, 2014 The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled defenseman Brian Dumoulin and forward Scott Wilson from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford. Dumoulin, 23, has appeared in all 22 WBS games this season, tallying two goals and 10 points. His plus-16 is tied with teammate Taylor Chorney for the AHL lead. MURRAY, PENGUINS BLANK ICECAPS, 1-0

  November 29, 2014     WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Rookie goaltender Matt Murray collected his second shutout of the season as he made 22 saves in leading the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to a 1-0 win over the St. John’s IceCaps on Friday at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza.    Murray was able to out duel the IceCaps’ first-year netminder, Connor Hellebuyck, who was making his ninth consecutive start and came into the contest having won five straight.  … read more

PITTSBURGH RECALLS EBBETT

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Andrew Ebbett from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford. Ebbett, 31, began the season with Pittsburgh, but did not dress for any games. Ebbett is the WBS Penguins leading scorer this season with 17 points (5G-12A) in 17 games. BEARS EDGE PENGUINS IN SHOOTOUT, 2-1

PENS HEAD TO HERSHEY FOR THANKSGIVING APPETIZER

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins will be looking for a pre-Thanksgiving feast when they head to Hershey to face the Bears at 7:00pm tonight. BOAK LOANED TO WHEELING
