PENS AND BEARS FACE OFF IN EXHIBITION ACTION TONIGHT

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins continue their preseason preparations tonight, when they host the Hershey Bears at the Mohegan Sun Arena at 7:05pm. The Penguins opened their exhibition schedule on Wednesday night when they defeated the Utica Comets, 4-2, on home ice. DUMOULIN, FARNHAM ASSIGNED TO WILKES-BARRE

OCTOBER 4, 2014 The Pittsburgh Penguins have assigned defenseman Brian Dumoulin and forward Bobby Farnham to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford. Dumoulin, 23, recorded 21 points (5+16) in 53 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton last season, and has combined for 45 points (11+34) in 126 games with the AHL club during the past two seasons.  He made his NHL debut on December 14, 2013, against the… read more

PENS DOWN COMETS 4-2

Youth was served on Wednesday night at the Mohegan Sun Arena, as rookies Conor Sheary, Scott Wilson and Bryan Rust each scored goals (as did second-year pro Nick D’Agostino) in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins’ 4-2 win over the Utica Comets in preseason American Hockey League action. September 27, 2014 The Pittsburgh Penguins have assigned forwards Jayson Megna and Dominik Uher, and defenseman Reid McNeill to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.
