MEGNA RETURNS TO WILKES-BARRE

The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forward Jayson Megna to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League (AHL), it was announced Tuesday by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero. Megna made his NHL playoff debut in the opening round against Columbus, appearing in two games. He played in 36 regular-season games with Pittsburgh, tallying nine points (5G-4A). PENS AND BRUINS - PART TWO

It's a rematch of last year's historic second round series, as the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and the Providence Bruins will meet in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The seventh seeded Bruins defeated the second seeded Springfield Falcons, 6-3, in Springfield on Saturday night to complete the upset. PENS ON TO SECOND ROUND WITH 5-1 WIN OVER SENS

Andrew Ebbett put up three points and Peter Mannino turned aside 26 of 27 shots, as the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins posted a 5-1 win over the Binghamton Senators in Game Four of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals on Friday night at the Mohegan Sun Arena. KOBASEW SCORES IN OT TO GIVE PENS 3-2 WIN

Chuck Kobasew's goal 7:32 into overtime game the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins a 3-2 win over the Binghamton Senators in Game Three of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals on Wednesday night.  With the victory the Pens took a 2-1 series lead, and can now close out the best-of-five series on home ice this Friday night. SENS SNAP POSTSEASON LOSING STREAK VERSUS PENS

Stephane Da Costa tallied two goals, including the overtime winner, as the Binghamton Senators posted a 4-3, come-from-behind win, over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in Game Two of the American Hockey League Eastern Conference Quarterfinals on Saturday night. ZLOBIN SCORES IN OT TO GIVE PENS 3-2 WIN

Anton Zlobin scored at 8:40 of overtime, giving the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins a 3-2 win over the Binghamton Senators in Game One of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. The win was the eighth straight for the Penguins over the Senators in postseason play, dating back to April 23, 2005.
