ICECAPS SHUT OUT PENGUINS, 5-0

Michael Hutchinson made 30 saves and saw five different teammates score goals, as the St. John’s IceCaps defeated the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, 5-0, in Game Three of the Eastern Conference Final on Wednesday night in Wilkes-Barre.  With the win the IceCaps took a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series, with Game Four scheduled for Thursday night at the Mohegan Sun Arena.  Patrice Cormier opened his account for the postseason by tipping home a shot from Josh Morrissey at the Penguins… read more

ICECAPS SQUEAK BY PENS IN GAME TWO, 2-1

Anton Zlobin's sixth goal of the playoffs was all the offense the Penguins could muster, as the St. John's IceCaps squeaked to a 2-1 win over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in Game Two of the AHL's Eastern Conference Final on Sunday night in St. John's. GOERS GIVES BACK

Being a professional hockey player has given Barry Goers a chance to see cities throughout North America – from Abbotsford to Anchorage, from Boise to Bridgeport. PROVIDENCE PULLS OUT 3-2 OT WIN

Cory Kane's hack and whack goal at 6:31 of oveertime capped a late comeback for the Bruins, as Providence took a 3-2 overtime win in Game Four of the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Friday night at the Dunkin' Donut Center.  The win evened the best-of-seven series at two games apiece with Game Five set for Saturday night in Providence.
