  Penguins Assign McNeill to Wheeling First-year defenseman returns to Nailers   WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – It was announced today that the Pittsburgh Penguins have assigned defenseman Reid McNeill to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL) from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.    Assigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Monday, McNeill did not appear in any games for the Penguins.  McNeill has recorded four assists and 39 penalty minutes in 25 games with the Nailers this year in his first pro season.… read more

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled defenseman Joe Morrow from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero. Morrow, 20, will be looking to make his NHL debut Sunday night against New Jersey.
