Fox, 25, has posted 11 points (3+8) in 10 games with the Nailers, tying him for second on the team at the time of his recall. WILKES-BARRE, PA – The Pittsburgh Penguins have reassigned defenseman Alex Grant and forward Joey Haddad from the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL) to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL), it was announced on Sunday. The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled defenseman Nate Guenin from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced by Executive Vice President and General Manager Ray Shero. After signing with the Penguins in the offseason, Guenin became the third Pittsburgh native to join the Penguins organization in the last three seasons (Bill Thomas, 2008-09; Ryan Malone, 2003-08). The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forward Chris Conner to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced by Executive Vice President and General Manager Ray Shero. Conner, 23, recorded one assist in six games during his stint in Pittsburgh. The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins were aggravated. The team was stymied by rookie goaltender Braden Holtby during a 3-0 loss on Friday, October 9, and things weren’t going much better the following night against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
