CURRY SETS SINGLE SEASON WIN MARK IN 1-0 SHUTOUT AGAINST HERSHEY

HERSHEY, PA - John Curry made 31 saves to record his fourth shutout of the season, as the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins posted a 1-0 win on Sunday evening in Hershey. With the win, the Penguins clinched a seventh consecutive appearance in the Calder Cup Playoffs, and the eighth postseason trip in the franchise's 10 year history. WILKES-BARRE, PA - Chris Minard notched a pair of third period power play goals to lead the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to a 5-2 win against the Toronto Marlies at the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza on Saturday night. PESONEN SAVES THE DAY, LEADS PENGUINS TO 5-3 WIN

WILKES-BARRE, PA - Janne Pesonen scored a pair of third period goals, allowing the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to post a 5-3 win over the Grand Rapids Griffins Wednesday night at the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza. It was an exciting ending that the Pens wish they didn't need. PENGUINS RELEASE CLEAR DAY ROSTER

WILKES-BARRE, PA - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have set their roster for the American Hockey League’s Clear Day period, it was announced on Thursday. WILKES-BARRE, PA – The Pittsburgh Penguins have reassigned goaltender David Brown from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to the Wheeling Nailers, it was announced on Wednesday.
