WORKIN’ AT THE CAR WASH

If you happened to be in the area of Coal Street Park around 1:00pm on Saturday, you saw what some would consider a strange sight - a six foot tall Penguin washing cars in the parking lot. The Penguin in question was Tux, and the cars belonged to season ticket holders taking part in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins first ever STH Car Wash. The event was staged to say Thank You to season ticket holders for renewing their seats early for the 2013-14 season.  It was just one of a handful of fun… read more

RICHARDS, SAUCIER ADD TO WBS-USA CONNECTION

Seven years ago, Todd Richards and Dan Bylsma shared a bench in Northeast PA. This coming February, they'll be sharing one halfway around the world, with their roles reversed. TEAM WHITE SCORES 5-3 WIN IN SCRIMMAGE

Team White Scores 5-3 Win in Scrimmage Megna shines in scrimmage on final day of Development Camp By Mike O'Brien The Pittsburgh Penguins closed out their 2013 Development Camp with an open scrimmage on Saturday afternoon at CONSOL Energy Center.  Jayson Megna's two goals led the way as Team White skated to a 5-3 win over Team Black in front of thousands of fans packed into the lower bowl of the arena.
